I am have been working as a Junior Designer with Sarah Catherine Collective, a small residential design studio located in Charlotte, NC.  As a junior designer, I have been responsible for assisting the principal designer through each phase of the design process, resulting in beautiful spaces that fit each client's wants and needs. 

 

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Anderson University in South Carolina.  Through my studies at Anderson, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of student projects including residential, retail, hospitality, transportation, higher education, and healthcare.  One of these projects was entered into the national ASID REPurpose for Today student competition and received an Honorable Mention.  

 

I was also able to complete an internship in Hendersonville, NC with Cheryl Smith Associates.  Through my internship, I had the opportunity to work with clients on a variety of projects.  This was a great experience for me and allowed me to have my first experience in working for an interior design firm. 

 

As a student, I was very involved in my student ASID chapter, serving on the executive council for two years.  Also, I currently serve as the ASID Carolinas chapter Student Rep to the Board.  

 

I am passionate about design, and I get excited about each project that I have the opportunity to work on.  I am proficient in software programs including AutoDesk AutoCAD and Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and the Microsoft Office Suite.  These computer skills allow me to express my designs to their fullest potential.
